God is peace, the world is war.

There is a war and a peace going on all around us, Gods love is the peace, the world is the war.

I stopped by since you came up on the feedback for similar interests. It would be neat to hear back from you! I too am married, altho he is not a believer...yet. And we have two kids. Who can be gems yet a pain at other times.

I see that you are in business, with computers and such. I am a student right now, and I am going for my Bachelor of Science in Busines Adminstration. with a HR emphasis.

That is true about God he is Peace and this world...is war. I agree with you there.

Well I do hope to be able to hear from you sometime. I just started a blog here yesterday. I am still getting to know it all :)

I agree! The war is an unseen war - a spiritual war!

Ephesians 6:11-13
--------------------
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

It is important for us to be prepared for battle every day! Prayer and the Word of God help prepare us before we leave our homes and interact in this world.

To God be the glory, great things He has done!

It's always good to be encouraged by brothers and sisters, even through words and images on the web. I look forward to getting to know you all more, through sharing our blogs, and to know what God is doing in your life. Keep going for JESUS!
Love, in Christ,

You people better start reading your Bible! The lord is not about peace, the Lord is a Man of War! (Leviticus, many lines).

Our great leader, the great George Bush, knows that the only way to defeat the evil towel heads is to use the POWER of the GOSPELS of the LORD to KILL the EVIL DOERS of His planet!

Thank God that Bush has the balls to KILL those bastards. Peace is for the weak. WAR is for BUSH, and WAR is for JESUS, and WAR is for ME!

Visit my blog http://www.ladyofgrace.blogspot.com/ I have known of the presence of God all of my life. I have been given a dream... to write about the love that God has for everyone... to reach out to others... to share my own life experiences. The battles of this world are definitely spritiual. And God is the ultimate giver of peace in all situations.

I agree with your comment. God is peace. The world is war. But are there not times when the two intermeddle with each other? Or rather, does not God utilise war to bring peace?

This is not the way it was meant to be. I know. God did not create us to blow each other up.

But is it truly honest to unassociate (is that a word)our God with war?

I'm not sure myself. Just a thought.

Do you want to expand the statement to explain what you are saying? Maybe support this statement with scripture? Maybe I'm just reading it incorrectly, but are you saying that the world is in war or the world IS war?

That's a right word to write down.
God is the peace and the Saviour. Only with His grace you can come throw this world. The whole world is going down by war and terrorism, only by God you can find that peace for your sail if you get grace from Jesus Christ.

God bless you...

Hmmm......I do believe and know that God is love, but I am a little confused as to what you mean the world is war. I also believe that we are at war with the "world", but am not quite sure what you mean when you say that about the world. It just got a little confusing when you mentioned the war that our nation is involved with right now. Sounds like this could be a good topic for another post!

It's kinda ironic, given a post like that, that you call yourself "GodWarrior" -don't you think?

Anyway...

Why focused on war? Wars will come and go but it is our daily struggle with our sinful nature that we must bring to the foot of the cross. How can I be so focused on your sins or what is going on in the world without paying attention to the sinful nature that is brewing in me? The answer! Refocus your sights on Christ. Though the way of this world is cool and even sexy let's stay focused on the straight and narrow. Talk to your God daily, read his Word and silent yourself to hear the spirit of God when it calls. Then those who see your reactions to the world and it's sinful nature, will wonder and maybe be encouraged to begin a relationship with the King of Kings.

The Christian often finds himself at war in a world controled by Satan that's why Paul exhorts us to put on the whole armor of God and Jude says earnestly contend for the faith.

Hmmm I have a husband that does not believe he is ultimately responsible for the salvation of this family. Therefore he does nothing, he does not give me his urine as protection, we don't have sex ever any more and he does not act as the head of this house unless he is barking orders - he is almost like a Stalin. H doesn't work but he expects us to take care of him daily. Do you, in your infinite wisdome, have any knowledge that I might gain to help me, in my daily wisdom, to help him? any comment would be greatly appreciated.

Only God has infinite wisdom, I just speak from the Holy Spirit. You and I must pray, for the Shepard will hear our prayers. Lets pray for the ones we love so that they may seek wisdom in his word.

I am a Warrior of Peace.
